Michael’s 30th Birthday Bash!

You’re invited to an open weekend full of events that are loosely strung together around Michael’s 30th birthday! Mostly this is your excuse to come enjoy Chicago around Christmastime - I know you want to!

Please let me know if you can make it to the “party” on Saturday, December 20th in the evening! Ideally I would have confirmed numbers by November 1!

If you want to sit together for a performance, let me know your interest by September 1, and we will get group tickets!

(I will let you know the prices for tickets before I order, but I’m trying to keep them between $45 and $75.)

If you can’t confirm by then, we can sit apart and meet at Intermission!

When

Folx are invited to arrive on December 19th and stay as long as they want!

For reference, The Landii Family will arrive on Friday, December 19 and check-out on Sunday, December 21.

A timeline of activities will take shape as we get closer, and I’ll update anyone who RSVP’s with more info as the time comes!

Where

All over Chicago! We will be staying at the Hilton Palmer House Hotel for the weekend.

But anywhere that you want to stay sounds great! We will stay mostly in The Loop for the weekend, but will travel north Saturday to Wrigleyville for the party!

A mix of performances you can choose to attend or not, and a fun night at a holiday popup bar in Wrigleyville!

Holiday Pop-Up party:

Saturday, December 20 from 8-11PM

There will hopefully be a Christmas market outside Wrigley field we can meet at and get delicious warm drinks and food, before heading to the bar at 8 for more fun!

The gay bars are right around the corner from Wrigleyville for those looking for more fun after!

HOW… to get to chicago

Fly into either Midway Airport or O’Hare International Airport.

From O’Hare, you can take the CTA Blue Line downtown into The Loop. The CTA now accepts contact-less tap payments to get on the train.

Ubers, Lyfts, and taxis are also plentiful and are about a 30 minute drive away.
